It's countdown time!

Just twelve more work days left and just over a month of busy-ness before I fly over to Germany to join Caroline. Hopefully it bwill be a little warmer over there by then as she's had temperatures of -7. Yuk!

My bike is all packed away in its wee travel bag - hopefully wrapped well enough to see itthrough two flight changes.
I have also packed my panniers to see whether I can fit in everything I need to take. I need to be prepared for all seasons as the 7 months of touring will cover at least 3 - Spring in Europe through to Autum in Canada. So far so good, but have just bought two new pairs of shoes - Keen sandals for hot cycling days and a lovely pair of Allbirds merino shoes for when I want to look tidy after a days cycling, so have to fit them in somewhere! Then there's the wash bag that hasn't been sorted yet .... hey ho.

Lovely new comfy shoes to start the travels

I'm taking my VERY old cycling shoes with me rather than the newer pair I bought in Berlin back in 2014. They are certainly pretty ratty but my feet love them no matter how long they're on whereas the newer pair get tighter as my feet get hotter. Fingers crossed I can find another pair similar to my old tried & true to replace them when  I get to France. Hoping German customs don't confiscate them a a health hazard!!
Bought in Petone in 1993; still serving me well despite a few applications of glue! Italian made.

I am really impressed that there is so much information about this subject that have been uncovered and you’ve done your best, with so much class. If wanted to know more about green smoke reviews, than by all means come in and check our stuff. 犀利士資訊
